Description:

This contract involved the re-development of the existing Kylemore amenity park in a residential area of Ballyfermot for Dublin City Council Parks Department. The project involved the construction of various play areas and surfaces from a flood lighted synthetic football pitch to wetpour basketball court and playground area. The parks walkways are constructed with detailed granite paving and kerbing incorporating architectural street lighting and furniture, and set in soft landscaping with earth mounding and planting.

Liffey Developments were appointed as Main Contractor and PSCS. Our role involved co-ordination of all site activities from technical and H&S perspective, close co-operation with PSDP and Design Team, Dublin City Council, Consultant Engineers. As this project was located in a built up residential area, close consultation and liaison with local residents was required.
